The 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT services- based solutions for the federal government. The EPA SHVDA IDIQ contract is an established vehicle to provide products and services related to the EPA Server Hosted Virtual Desktop and Application initiative. In addition to planning, deployment and support services from Accelera Solutions, the contract provides a purchase vehicle for select hardware and software from Citrix Systems, Microsoft, AppSense and WYSE. Awarded in July 2011, this contract has a 5 year lifespan.
