Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Achieves Remote Access to AHLTA
Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) is a major military medical facility serving active duty Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard, their families, retired personnel, their dependents and other beneficiaries authorized treatment in uniformed services clinics and hospitals. It is one of three major teaching hospitals in the Navy. NMCP chose Accelera to develop and implement a solution to improve user productivity and decrease application upgrade costs. Ultimately, NMCP needed to bring central application deployment and secure remote access to users previously unable to access AHLTA.
Accelera deployed Citrix Access Gateway and Citrix Presentation Server. During this project, Accelera developed unique domain expertise and established a standard for other DOD hospitals. This solution serves internal and external users at 13 remote sites.
