Johns Hopkins School of Public Health
Accelera Solutions worked with Johns Hopkins to migrate their portal solution to leverage the most current platforms and applications. This migration effort required custom development in a number of areas including the integration of a secure gateway service and the adoption of usability requirements within the new portal framework. Accelera’s personnel operated as technology experts to provide technical support for the portal product, its implementation, and further development. Accelera continues to provide technology and subject matter expertise in the realm of remote access and portal technology for the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, its students, faculty, and staff.
HMSHost
HMSHost selected Accelera Solutions, Inc. to design and implement an intranet/extranet solution to deliver content and applications to users across the enterprise. To accomplish this goal Accelera provided supplemental consulting services for analysis and design, product evaluation and selection, project management, and development/implementation assistance. Specific tasks included the design and integration of a partner specific web site, collaboration with the network infrastructure group to streamline remote access through the SSL VPN solution, integration of a content management solution and many custom development efforts.
Miles & Stockbridge
Accelera provided technical support for the Miles & Stockbridge Citrix environment. This support included the migration of the Citrix Presentation Server farm from 3.0 to Presentation Server 4.0, the implementation of a solution to improve printing performance and remote access. In addition, Accelera helped Miles & Stockbridge develop and implement a web strategy that provided a single point of access to Citrix Presentation Server published applications, ColdFusion based applications and the corporate intranet. Accelera also enhanced the security sub system with the implementation of the Citrix Access Gateway SSL/VPN appliance.
Storage USA
Accelera Solutions performed work in a variety of areas for Storage USA including architecting and developing pieces of their primary web based facility management application, retrofitting the application with changing business requirements, and assisting in system stabilization during production rollout. In parallel to this project, Accelera designed and implemented an enterprise server based computing solution (Citrix) using thin clients (WYSE) to deploy this application across low bandwidth connections to over 600 remote locations.
