The team’s mission is simple: to minimize risk, drive cost savings, improve security and maximize efficiency in government and commercial organizations.


Chong (L.C.) Yi, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Yi has over 25 years of experience with small businesses in roles spanning sales, marketing and operations.  He helped manage and expand two family businesses during the 1980’s before entering the financial markets as a consultant with First Guarantee Mortgage, Provident Funding and International Business Investments.   Having built a strong background with small business and finance, Mr. Yi added technology to his resume with UUNET Technologies as a National Account Manager.   He helped his client base make strategic business decisions related to IT infrastructure and managed solutions.

As one of the original founders and the Chief Executive Officer at Accelera Solutions, Mr. Yi oversees organizational operations including finance, HR, fulfillment, facilities and legal departments.  He’s responsible for corporate accounting, compliance with financial and government regulations, maintaining C level relationships and overseeing an integrated set of processes to optimize the company’s financial reporting and compliance activities.


Joe Brown, President

Mr. Brown is President and co-founder of Accelera Solutions.  He is responsible for the structure, strategy and execution of Accelera’s sales and marketing team.   Additionally, Brown is the senior technologist and chief architect whereby he contributes his expertise in virtualization technology to continually evaluate new technology partners and manage the company’s position within the virtualization community.

Mr. Brown leveraged his experience at Citrix Systems to build a world class sales and marketing organization which earned Accelera numerous awards and a reputation as the market leader in providing virtualization solutions.  Brown brings over a decade of direct, hands-on virtualization experience and has the unique ability to blend technical with business.  As a result, he sits on the Dell Enterprise Architecture Council and the Citrix Platinum Advisory Council.

Steve Daly, Executive Vice President of Systems Engineering

Mr. Daly has an extensive background in virtualization technologies and oversees Accelera’s service delivery team.  His experience includes technical engineering and management positions with Radian Systems, Sequoia Software and most recently Citrix Systems.   Accelera’s engineering efforts range from short term, project based assignments to multi-year IDIQ driven vehicles.  Mr. Daly oversees all technical aspects of these efforts.   The backbone of Accelera’s reputation is its strong technical acumen.  As one of the original founders of the company, Daly built that reputation and continues to lead its advance today with his team of field engineers, project managers and a technical support staff based in Fairfax, VA.


Terrill Andrews, Executive Vice President of Program Management Office

Mr. Andrews is a founding partner of Accelera Solutions. With his background in software engineering Mr. Andrews was responsible for management and delivery of Accelera’s many software development projects.  He now provides leadership for project management and process improvement for Accelera’s service delivery business based on his extensive experience with full project lifecycles using standard project management methodologies.  His experience also includes project management, business analysis, requirements gathering, application architecture design, system testing and implementation. Mr. Andrews manages many of Accelera’s most complex and demanding service delivery projects.


Jim Waldron, Vice President of Sales

Mr. Waldron brings over 30 years of experience in information technology to Accelera.   He’s held sales leadership positions in both the public and private sectors and most recently, he served as Director of DOD Sales for Citrix Systems.

Prior to Citrix, Mr. Waldron was Vice President of Sales for Eyak Technology, an Alaskan Native Corporation specializing in IT and communication services.  He was also Vice President of Federal Business for INX Inc, an IP communication products and services company where he managed their global federal operations with a worldwide staff.  He also held federal sales management positions with leading IT companies including GTSI, Cisco Systems, Network Imaging and Compaq Computers.

Jim holds both a BBA and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.


Eric Weiman, Director of Service Delivery

Mr. Weiman brings years of accumulated experience from managing the services delivery divisions of some of the country’s largest systems integrators.

Prior to joining Accelera in 2012, Mr. Wieman was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Dell Services Federal Government’s Civilian Division.  In this capacity, Wieman was responsible for the leadership of the $305 million a year division, including over 1,000 Perot Systems Associates and approximately 500 subcontractors who provided science, engineering and Information Technology services to federal civilian customers.

Prior to joining Perot Systems, Wieman served as Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC) Vice President of Science and Engineering Services (SES) and the NASA Customer Relationship Executive. Before joining CSC in 2007, Wieman was the Director of Science and Mission Support at Raytheon Information Solutions (RIS)/Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS).  While at Ratheon/IIS, he served as RIS’s Director of Enterprise Support Solutions, Director of Enterprise Information Solutions, and Director of Information Technology Systems.

Wieman served as an active duty Navy pilot for almost seven years, including as a P-3C Patrol Plane Commander, mission commander, and instructor pilot.  He was also a primary flight instructor for familiarization, basic instruments, formation, and aerobatics in the T-34C aircraft.  Wieman later served as a Navy Reserve Pilot for 19 years, retiring in October 2006.

Wieman holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.  He has attended various corporate management and leadership institutes throughout his career and completed Raytheon’s Business Leadership Program and Advanced Program Leadership Course.
